Welcome back to The Cait Take! This week are are going IN on the topic of self-worth, body image, and that patriarchy. Yep, yep we are going there. Cait shares her take on her experience having a low self-worth that was very tied to how she looked and how she has overcome that over the years. Cait also shares her take on how our patriarchal society plays into our need to forever be small, look perfect, and define ourselves as having it "all together" as women.
We will also look at a few other questions to ask yourself and get curious, not judgemental when our self-worth is tied to how we look, weight, etc! Get ready to look at self-worth, body image, and yourself in a whole new way!

Welcome back to The Cait Take Podcast. This week we have a very special guest! The one and only, Zach Brown, Cait's husband, has joined us on the podcast this week!
Cait and Zach met six years ago when Cait left her phone number for her cute waiter (hint: that waiter was Zach) while out with her teaching co-workers. Little did she know at the time, but Zach was on his very own unique journey before their paths met. He was at the time, 11 months sober and in recovery from alcohol after several attempts before. For Cait and Zach, this only strengthened their relationship and bond.
On Friday, October 30th, it will be seven years since Zach has maintained his sobriety, continued to recover, and grow!
Zach shares his story on how he realized he had a problem, hitting his rock bottom, and his personal testimony of what recovery really takes. Cait and Zach dive into how you can support a person you love in your life going through sobriety and how they have made it work in their relationship.
Get ready to get inspired, get real, and get the Cait (And Zach!) Take on the road to recovery.
