This week on The Cait Take we are getting raw, real, and transparent about the postpartum journey. We are GOING there. Talking about the highs, the lows, how your marriage might change, mourning the loss of your old life, feeling so empowered, and most importantly know you are NOT alone in this journey of motherhood. Everyone else is truly, just doing the BEST the can!
This week, I share my honest thoughts, how I am riding the highs and enjoying the fun times, working my way through the lows, and everything in between. This week it feels like a good heart-to-heart over an adult beverage and comfy sweatpants.
The goal of this weeks episode? To drop the curtain of motherhood and have you realize, you are NOT alone! We all go through this and all can get through it! This week, please be sure to share this episode with a mama friend who needs to listen!
Trigger warning: the mention of intrusive thoughts is in this episode and I do let you know when. If that is hard for your heart, please skip ahead at that point!

Today I walk you through the power of daily affirmations. In writing them, speaking them, and listening to them you truly can transform not only your mindset but yourself as a person. The power in affirmations is not in the "fake it till you make it" mentality we hear so much. The power in affirmations is that you start acting "as if" you already are that person. There is power in the words we think and the actions we take that follow!
Today I walk you through the step by step way to implement affirmations into your daily life so that you can transform your mind, make your dreams a reality, and take a step forward into that brighter, shiner, version of yourself!
Also take a listen to Episode 36 "Yes, Early Alarm Clocks Stuck, Get Up Anyway!" and Episode 29 "Ellie's Birth Story- A Lesson in Strength and Surender" to get an idea on the power of affirmations as well as incorporating them in your morning routine!

39: The Truth Behind Hard Work

Thursday Jul 29, 2021

Thursday Jul 29, 2021

The hustle, the grind, the effort. Man, sometimes I shy away from this topic of hard work because I don't want it to get twisted. I want people to remember that in order to go far yes, you do have to rest. Yes, you do have to fill your own cup up first. Yes, you have to have the WHY behind the hard work. BUT ALSO- you have to work hard as for what you really want out of life.
The other day, the CEO of the company I partner with, challenged us to get scrappy, relentless, hungry, and unstoppable towards our goals. And for me, this is a corner stone of how I have built my business in the start and even now. Hard work, grit, and being the most consistent one in the room who will show up- no matter the circumstances.
So if you are ready to roll up your sleeves, get down and dirty, and learn about the hard work required to take your dreams from something on paper- to something REAL- then this is the episode for you.
I'm going to be working with 10 new coach leaders for my health & fitness business, and I'm specifically looking for women who are self-starters in most areas of life and have a dream on their heart that won't stay quiet. You are unapologetic about being your authentic self and want to serve others. As your mentor, I can help you take the action you need in your life to make these dreams a reality. As long as you are coachable and willing to work, you can. You do the work, but I'm there for you as reminder, if I did it- so can you. If you're interested in being one of the ten, please email me at coachcait1@gmail.com and we can chat from there.

Today's episode is an important one. Because I think so many of us stay STUCK because we are NOT giving ourselves the simplest gift we can..the PERMISSION to succeed! Truly think about it, do you give yourself permission to succeed? Do you stop before you even start because of the "what if's" or because you might "fail" at it?
Today I walk you through some thought provoking questions to ask yourself so you can bust through any plateau you are in decide to step into the woman you can REALLY be, by giving yourself permission to succeed. Today's episode is no BS and ALL love. Because you have to remember that YOU are in the drivers seat to making your dreams a reality. No one is going to hand it to you, you are the one who CAN go out and get it! If you work hard enough and believe hard enough!
I am so happy The Cait Take is back for Season 2!

This weeks episode is a sweet one! Today I sit down with Zach and Alexandra Vraa, the founders of A to Z Creamery. A to Z Creamery was born during the craziness of the Covid-19 pandemic. Zach, a foodie and naturally creative person, took quarantine boredom to his kitchen to pass time. He started churning out custom ice cream, sharing it on social media, and before he knew it he was working his dream job as a super premium ice cream maker.
His wife, Alex, who supported him from the start also was the voice of reason behind Zach's big dreams. With her own successful career in finance, Alex helped Zach take A to Z from a creative idea to a business that now is booming across the Twin Cities. Today they sit and chat with Cait and share their take, on making entrepreneurship work as a couple, building dreams together, assessing and taking risks, and building a dream as a team.
This is the perfect episode if you have a dream on YOUR heart and need help sharing that idea with your spouse! Truly, this is a power couple in the making and it is exciting to have them on the podcast as this business is booming! You will love this couple!

A little more about A to Z:
At A to Z Creamery, we're all about creativity. We want to push the boundaries and expand on the concept of traditional ice cream. Everyone has their favorite dessert or food pairing and our goal is to create that in the form of ice cream!

Do you ever find yourself late at night scrolling social media and feeling like absolute , because that girl on social media looks perfect?
Have you ever found yourself thinking that that girl at work, should get the promotion because clearly she could do it better than you? You question, what does she have that you don’t?
What about those moms on Instagram who seemingly have it all together? While you’re sitting there in sweatpants and barely were able to brush your hair today? Do you compare yourselves to them?
On today’s bonus episode my dear friend and business partner, Molly Asplin and I, discuss how we've personally developed the awareness and mindset to work through thoughts of comparison.
Because remember all tides rise ships! And today’s episode will help you focus on collaboration over competition so we ALL can shine!

In today's episode we cover the two categories, I believe we fall into of why we care so much about what others think about us! You are either a people pleaser or you want people to think you are perfect. Neither of these are good and neither of these will lead you to your dream life!
It is time that we start living our own truths, living out our own dreams, being our authentic selves, and learn how to start actually doing the things we want, and not care so much what others may or may not think about us. Because news flash, at the end of the day, people really care more about themselves and what you should care about, is taking that first courageous step to be YOU and live YOUR dreams.
Because at the end of the day, you are the one who lives with your regrets, not those who are watching from the sidelines!
Today is going to be an awesome episode, so enjoy! Remember to subscribe, review, and share the podcast with those on your social media and who would find value in this in your life!
